Pursuant to article 13, Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, Cityguru S.r.l.s. based in Milan (MI) – Viale Corsica 83, in its role as data controller, states the purposes and methods of processing of the collected personal data, their communication and promulgation, in addition to the nature of the conferring.
Personal data are collected and used to fulfil goals that are instrumental for accomplishment and handling of the requests, in accordance with general rules of fairness and laws.
The information is processed by the appointed operators with the aid of electronic or automatic devices or on paper.
The data is stored in paper archives, computer files and electronic archives and are guaranteed the minimum security measures in compliance with legislature.
No sensitive data collected in this way will be notified or sold to any third party.
The collected data are used to:
a) allow the client to purchase the Cityguru Card for themselves or a third person;
b) allow us to send the Cityguru Card to the buyer domicile or the domicile previously stated;
c) allow us to send to the clients new information regarding the Cityguru network.
The person concerned can assert his or her own rights as stated in articles 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 n.196, by addressing the data controller.
In accordance with article 7, the data subject may obtain confirmation of the existence of any personal data relating to him or her, even if not yet recorded, and their notification in an intelligible form.
The data subject is entitled to receive information on:
a) the source of the personal data;
b) the purpose and means of processing the data;
c) the logics used in the case of processing the data with the use of electronic devices;
d) the identity of the data controller, the data processors, and the designated
representative pursuant to article 5, paragraph 2;
e) the data subjects or categories of data subjects to whom the personal data may be notified or who may become acquainted with the data in their capacity as the designated representatives within the territory of the State, of the data processors or officers.
The data subject is entitled to receive:
a) updated, rectified or, where relevant, supplementary information;
b) cancellation, transformation in anonymous form or blockage of any data which are processed in violation of the law, including the data which should not necessary be kept for the purposes for which they have been gathered or subsequently processed;
c) confirmation that the operations referred to under a) and b) above, together with their contents, have been brought to the attention of the subjects whose data were communicated or spread, except for the case in which this formality is impossible or entails the use of means which are manifestly disproportionate in terms of the protected right.
The data subject may object, wholly or partially:
a) to the use of his or her personal data for lawful reasons, even if relevant to the purpose for which the data were collected;
b) to the processing of his or her personal data for the purposes of supplying informative materials;
c) to the use or processing of his or her personal data for the purposes of supplying advertising materials, or direct sales, or for the purposes of market research, or commercial communications.
The data will be stored for as long as is necessary for any received request to be promptly attended to.
The policy for communication via e-mail or fax:
Pursuant to Legislative Decree n.196, 30 June 2003, under art. 13 of the Data Protection Code, we inform you that the data in our possession are being used for checks on satisfaction levels, conferences, data disclosure via e-mail or fax to companies of the group, connected or cooperating with Cityguru S.r.l.s..
In accordance with article 7 of the above mentioned Legislative Decree, the client has the right to be informed regarding to which data are being processed and the manner of their use, to request their modification, cancellation and to oppose the processing of those via a written request, sent by registered mail to: Cityguru S.r.l.s., Milan, Viale Corsica 83, 20133.
Access to personal account and profile:
In order to provide the possibility to access the profile easily and to facilitate the Cityguru service delivery, we use a technology which lets us associate the client to his or her account and provide a direct access to that account without the necessity to reenter the password or other identification credentials at each access to the Cityguru service. The clients may not use this function by removing the check from the box “Remember me” when logging in to the website or the application.
The clients should choose “Exit” on their devices in order to remove the access to their Cityguru account. Where it is possible, the users of public or shared devices should exit from their account at the end of each session. Before selling or returning the computer or other devices which are compatible with Cityguru, the clients should make sure they have exited from their accounts and switched off the devices. In case the clients do not safeguard the security of their passwords or their devices, do not exit their accounts or do not switch off their devices, other users will be able to access their accounts and get their personal data.
